ARAS MARINE has completed the production of Turkey’s largest dredging pontoon in its class and capable of reaching the most depth. The Hitachi EX 1200 type excavator on the new Kurtuluş Kara dredging barge, which joined the fleet in September 2014, is Turkey’s first backhoe dredging barge and the largest in its class, which can reach a total depth of -20 metres above sea level with a bucket volume of 2.50 m3.
